Are you a laid-back couple who love to laugh together? Do you worry more about spending time with people you love than stressing about the details? Do you love – or make it your goal – to travel? Prefer bonfires over bars, but have a sneaky affection for tequila? Treasure moments lived more than stuff bought? Do you wear your heart on your sleeve and make sure the people you love the most really know it? Do you also maybe have an undying (and perhaps unhealthy) love for cheese?
If you find yourself saying yes to most of these things, then we might be destined to be friends, and I would definitely love to talk to you about your wedding day.
I want to be there to document the big stuff – the vows, the kiss, the toasts – but what I’m really hunting for is the little moments. The tiny gestures that often go unnoticed: the gentle touch of fingertips when you aren’t “allowed” to kiss yet; the tilt of the head so he can get a better look at you; your sister’s laughter during speeches; your mom’s tears during your dance with your dad; your uncle’s dancing face (come on – you know we all have that face we do when we’re busting some serious moves); your grandmother taking in the scene from the edge of the dance floor; the look on your face when you get to steal a few quiet moments alone with the person you love most in this world.
Know that when Kristin and I show up to a wedding, we’re all in. We’re there the whooooooole day and we’re in it for some serious fun. We want the laughter, the tears, the embarrassed groans. And know that, in the weeks afterwards, long after everything’s all wrapped up and the guests have moved on to other things, I’m going to be working on creating a stunning album for you that will hang around longer than your grandchildren. Because I believe strongly in creating lasting memories, I specialise in providing albums for my clients – every wedding client walks away with an album.
