I have been doing an increasing number of larger family groups this year, and love that these sessions so often focus on mothers.

Moms are usually my contact person for photo sessions and are heart and soul of many families, so getting to work with multiple mothers in a single session with the Arbic family was a treat. This gang joined me in the studio on a less-than-beautiful day for a session that was really a celebration of life and family, and WOW did they ever make getting down to business seem easy! Their session took on such a natural flow that it was hard to believe it was over when they walked out the door. This awesome-looking group had the feel of seasoned pros; their mega-watt smiles came out from the beginning and stayed there – and even looked natural 10 frames in. :)

Here are a few favourites from this stellar bunch:

Pam and her twins joined me earlier this month for a mini session that left me smiling. Normally my time with the twins is busy to say the least, but this time the kids had started to take notice of me and were beginning to be curious about who I was and what I was doing. At the end of the session, we discovered a love for photo books that resulted in some touching shots of a mother with her children.

Here are a few favourites of Pam and her little ones:
