Charlee,
Maman let me help her out with this photo project for you because she loves you and Papa more than you’ll ever truly understand. You may be just little, but one day you’ll see what a light you put in her eyes and what a spark she puts in your Papa’s.
I photographed Maman and Papa’s wedding and knew they were special back then. It was super fun to catch up with them now that you’re walking and remind myself of how much they mean to each other. Just so you know, that part is still there, even though you’re way too small to see it.
One of the great joys of watching Moms and Dads is finding the ones who will stop what they’re doing and play like crazy people with their kids, and your Maman is one of those people. Your waltzing party at the end of your day made me laugh! The delight on your face while you threw your arms in the air and danced around the room was so fun, but the look on your Maman’s face while she joined you was fantastic. She is filled with wonder when she looks at you, Charlee.
This was a superb way to pass a Sunday, Charlee. Have a look at what we did together.
I’m Ang – a Cornwall, Ontario documentary family photographer with a passion for capturing light and photographing natural moments in life as they happen. I love getting in amongst the bedlam so that I can document the perfectly imperfect realities of daily life. Day in the life sessions allow me to capture all of the nuances of your family relationships as they are right now – all the quirks, the weirdness, the tenderness and the laughter.
