This session felt like a love letter.

To a family that feels like my own. To summer. To our glorious St Lawrence River.

Half day sessions are what hold my heart. They’re the perfect length for letting me in to capture some of the nitty gritty details that make your family tick. The good, the bad, the tantrums and the wine (or beer).

Lancaster Park was such a great location! The MacDonald gang had easy waterfront access; a dock for loading everyone into the boat, and plenty of seating outside the cabin for burgers once dinner came along.

Get ready for makeshift bathing suits, diaper-change yoga, beautiful summer sunshine out on the river, and the variety of facial expressions that come with being a toddler. This was heaven.

I’m Ang – a Cornwall, Ontario documentary family photographer with a passion for capturing light and photographing natural moments in life as they happen. My goal is to capture memories that you will cherish once your children are too grown up to curl into your lap for cuddles and the house seems oddly quiet at night. I love meeting new families in their natural environment and getting in amongst the bedlam so that I can document the perfectly imperfect realities of daily life. Think you’ve got the perfect idea for your own half day documentary session? Head over here to find out more about the sessions.
