Dear Gabrielle
Three weeks ago, I got to spend the evening with your family so that I could get some photos of you just being at home and being a family. There were no fancy outfits and no posing. Everyone was so relaxed! I just got to hang out with you and watch how much you and Audrée make your parents laugh. Bentley was super excited to have me there and I’m pretty sure he would’ve jumped on top of me if I’d let him.
While I was at your house, we did all kinds of things together. Audrée zoomed around on her bumblebee scooter and then helped your dad make pizza for supper. Did you know she LOVES cheese?! Like, she looooooooooves cheese! You and your mom got to hang out while Audrée ate the cheese instead of putting it on the pizza. Bentley spent a bit of time giving you sloppy kisses on your hand, and Audrée climbed up on the couch to give you some cuddles, too. You snacked on your toes and flashed me LOTS of bright smiles. After supper, Mom gave you a bath – and your sister tried to help (kind of) – and then had some quiet time with you while you fed before going to sleep. Dad helped Audrée get her long hair clean. I loved seeing your mom and dad read bedtime stories to you and your sister; reading is one of my favourite things to do with little kids like you.
The house got awfully quiet as your dad brought your sister to her crib. A few minutes later, you were sound asleep, too, and it was time for me to go home.
