Kasia and Matt’s day was such a memorable one! You couldn’t ask for better weather for a long weekend wedding, and their day at Cornwall Golf & Country Club was just perfect.
There was a heavy emphasis on family, with family in the wedding party and special guests in the form of family visiting from Poland. Matt’s Grandma had plenty of energy and made several guest appearances on the dance floor. This was the perfect wedding to help Kristin and I reaffirm our priorities: moments with family – and particularly with grandparents – will always have our whole hearts.
Kasia & Matt have both been the quintessential examples of the type of people we love to work with: trusting, quick to laugh, connected with their partner, and super laid back. What I’ve loved about these two from the very first time I met them was how easy they make everything. Even when I was asking them to stand on obnoxiously uneven ground to get the right angle for their engagement photos, they made it happen and smiled throughout! I love that they enjoy one another’s company so entirely and find so much joy in each other. When I have that sort of chemistry in front of me, everything else becomes pretty easy to deal with.
On that glorious Saturday, we cruised through all of the formal parts of the day including a beautiful ceremony on the lawn, had gorgeous light for portraits, and then got on with a very lively party and a full dance floor. I have to mention their wedding party because this gang were so amazing to work with! It’s not everyday that we get to shoot a wedding where the wedding party successfully make the day even more fun and even easier on us. They were helpful, full of laughter (and a hint of mischief) and definitely helped keep the energy up on the dance floor later.
