Welcome to our big old world, Kostas!
A couple of weeks ago, I traveled to Courtice for a Toronto family session and I spent the evening with your family. We had such a fun time together!
I got to watch your mom rock the multi-tasking like a boss. Did you know she can breastfeed you and make dinner at the same time? She’s got skills, dude! I saw how much your big brother loves you, even if he pokes you in the eyes sometimes (and pretends that it wasn’t on purpose). He was so gentle when he helped give you your bath and Mom even let him hold you for a few minutes until you decided you weren’t so keen on the idea. I got to see how happy your dad is from the minute he walks in the door and gets to play with you and your brother – well, mostly your brother because you’re pretty clear on your preference for Mom and only Mom at this particular point. Your dad LOVES to play. When you decide that it’s time, you’re going to have so much fun with him! I also got to see your smiles, your frowns, and your hilarious stink-eye.
Mostly, I got to see a family who are doing their best to make each other happy and that made my heart warm for days after I said goodbye. Kostas, you’re a lucky little boy and I think you’ll grow up knowing that.
