Evening routines hold so many little secrets about your family relationships! Games and creative play, bathtime and toothbrushing efforts, bedtime stories and goodnight kisses – each part is unique to you.
For the Murphys, this meant trying to keep a toddler from cheating at a board game, keeping out of the way while the girls twirled their way through princess playtime, making gigantic piles of bubbles in the bath and shoulder rides to bed.
There are so many little details within each of these larger actions that will change – next week when they take an interest in a new doll, next month when their motor skills change, next year when their relationship with their parents and with each other is in a new place.
So, for this one evening, they were the only thing that mattered in the world because they would never get that evening and those moments again.
