I’ve always loved working with families as they move through the process of welcoming a new baby into the world. What an exciting time full of change, challenge and growth (both literal and developmental)!
I encourage families to book individual sessions as needed, based on whether you’re looking for posed and directed portrait sessions or unscripted real life documentary family photography. The classic combo is maternity portraits at 32ish weeks, newborn within the first month, and a documentary session once baby starts walking, but I want my families to be able to modify this based on their needs, what they want to remember in 40 years, and what suits their schedule.
Newborn sessions continue to be offered in-home and can be documentary or casual portraits without styled props. If there are already older siblings, I highly recommend considering a half day documentary session for your newborn session, since it gives me time to really dig into the sibling dynamic and to show you how your family is welcoming, adapting, and loving on your newest addition and each other amidst the turbulence and joy of a new baby.

Please note that my fees do not include digital files. Typical client investment in product after the session ranges from $450-$1250, with clients at the lower end of that range typically purchasing a print collection or a few digital files, while those at the higher end typically purchase digital files and a print collection, album or larger wall art.
