Luc & Nat’s Martintown Engagement Session
This fun little Martintown engagement session happened in a spot made possible by last summer’s unusual drought: right in the middle of the Raisin River. Luc and Nat met us in Martintown. We went on a little adventure downstream to explore territory that is normally accessible only if you feel like going for a bit of a swim.
We had the best possible conditions. We had beautiful weather, perfect light, a couple with a great connection, and the constant possibility that I was going to end up in the river. Needless to say, there was a good bit of laughing. Our session plan was so simple. Meet, chat, go for a walk, explore. Nothing elaborate, just take some photos as we go and see what comes of it.
These two served as yet another reminder of how awesome it is to work with couples who trust. Trust in the process. Trust in me to choose an interesting spot and positions that will show them off at their best. Trust in each other to just relax and be together. I loved that they were willing to explore the riverside with me and have faith that it would be worth it. These two were so laid back and SO easy to work with, which means their July wedding day is going to be awesome!
Luc and Nat, here are some of my favourites from your session:
